Ubuntu Lookalike
It was amusing to find this long lost magnet stuck to the backside of the kitchen fridge. It took me about 5 seconds to realize why it looked so familiar- it was near identical to the Ubuntu OS logo. Although I can’t say for sure how old the lookalike is (the website is non-existent), I’m sure the designer drew his inspiration straight from the Ubuntu logo. Whether intentional or not (hey this logo could have been around before Ubuntu- who knows), it was interesting to find this lookalike so close to home. Ofcourse, this doesn’t happen sparingly- check out this recent post at LogoDesignLove on the phenomenon.

That’s pretty funny. I went through a Ubuntu phase and in the end, deemed it too boring. LOL!
